Day 1: Melbourne - Phillip Island
Distance: 78 miles
Pick up your Melbourne hire car, and head out of the city to the north. On the first day of the tour, you will drive through the small fishing villages of Tooradin and Koo Wee Rup before arriving at Phillip Island. Aside from the spectacular coastline of the island, it is a great place to see the local wildlife including koala bears.
